Kwara United winger Samuel Adegbenro is still in shock over NFF appeal committee's decision to award 3 points for Warri Wolves in their inconclusive week 29 encounter at Kwara State stadium in Ilorin.
The former Prime FC of Osogbo attacking midfielder stressed that the decision is too harsh and boardroom points shouldn't be given to any team at this stage of the league as he disclosed that this decision from the NFF appeal committee may hamper their chances of picking the continental ticket.
While speaking in a chat with www.papsonsports.com he opined that the appeal committee seems biased in their decision as he used the match between Kano Pillars vs Enyimba as an example, why Kano Pillars vs Enyimba should be replayed and awarded 3 points to the Seasiders.
But it's only God that can judge every man, and we will fight to the end for the continental ticket and hopefully we can achieve it. Kwara United next game is at home against Wikki Tourists of Bauchi but behind closed doors and we must claim the maximum points to move up a bit; he disclosed.
In just 3 matches to the end of the league, Afonja Warriors have garnered 48 points from 35 games and with their best away records, he (Adegbenro) believes they can pull a surprise by winning the remaining games.
