EID-EL-KABIR: ONI URGES SUBMISSION TO ALLAH'S WILL

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Segun Oni has urged Muslims in the country to emulate Prophet Ibrahim by always submitting themselves to the will of Allah.

In his goodwill message to Muslims on the occasion of this year's Eid-el-Kabir, Oni wished all Muslims in Nigeria, especially those in Ekiti State a happy celebration.

The former governor said the Holy Prophet Ibrahim did not fail Allah’s test on his faith because the Holy Prophet and Ismail, his son were epitome of faith and total submission to the will of Allah.

He said even though the test Allah gave Holy Prophet Ibrahim was a tough one, the prophet did not question Allah, urging Muslim faithful in the country to emulate the Holy Prophet.

“What Prophet Ibrahim did was the height of faith in Allah  and total submission to His will and I urge our Muslims brothers and sisters to learn from this rare demonstration of faith in Allah,” Oni said.
