Can we meet you ma?
My name is Mrs Funmi Akinyoola, graduated from the university of
Ibadan,where i studied Comm and Lang Arts in 2005. My working career started in 2008, had 4years experience in
HR/Admin matters, Wafservices started as partime in 2012 when i was asked to
resign , having searched for a job for close to a year i decided to face my
business fultime in Feb 2013, registered my business in June, have never looked
back, Willing to be a Job creator and to inspire others that are aspiring
entrepreneurs,undergraduates,job seekers
My goal in life is to be a worldclass industrialist, am not there
yet (obvioulsy) but i am thankful to God almighty its a work in progress! Happily Married with a son and lives in Lagos Nigeria. Am an Entrepreneur/Trainer and SMS Advert Consultant
How did you
background look like?
Am the eldest of three children, my Dad is late but my Mom is around
What prompted you into this job you are doing now?
First of all I want to Thank God
for d journey so far, I have about 4yrs working experience in Admin/HR. (Since
2008) Was asked to resign in 2012, I was a nursing mom, my baby was 3 months at
that time, I looked for a job for almost a year and getting tired, while I
built my website (sms9ja.com) as part time,
but I was enjoying the business and making something small. But my passion
drove me and divine call to face my business fully. its registered now as at
June this year and I have no regrets
If you are advice the F.G on what to do to
curb crime and other criminal activities in the country, what would be your
advice?
I will say the FG should leverage on ICT to combat crimes, with ICT it
will be a lot easier to curb crimes etc like in the US when you call 911 you
get help in minutes...
What program does your organization have for
the youths?
I would love to share with you something more important. First of
all, just STOP all you doing now and read this info carefully
and thank me later.
Unfortunately there are few jobs for teaming unemployed graduates
and unfortunately as well there is little or NOTING any bank can help you with
in terms of starting your own business!
