Men caught having sex in church

Written by Afolabi Ismail, Marble. Osun State Police Command yesterday docked middle aged men, Samuel Friday and Oni Oluwatobi, over indecent sexual practice. Friday and Oluwatobi who were arrested for indecent sexual practice and docked before a magistrate's court sitting in Osogbo were said to have perpetrated the act at Peace of Jesus Apostolic Church Asubiaro, Osogbo, capital of Osun State. The accused, according to the prosecutor, Mr. Solomon Oladele, conducted themselves in a manner likely to cause breach of peace by unlawfully engaged in homosexual at the said church. Four count charge were levelled against them while part of the charge sheet reads: " That you Samuel Friday, 19 and Oni Oluwatobi at Peace of Jesus Apostolic Asubiaro Osogbo in Osogbo Magisterial district did conspire together to commit felony wit indecent sexual practice between yourselves and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 516 of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol. II laws of Osun State of Nigeria, 2003." They however pleaded not guilty to the charges preffered against them as their lawyer, Mrs. Nenna Ugwu subsequently argued the court to grant them bail with assurance that they would not jump bail if granted. In his ruling, the presiding judge, magistrate Olusola Aluko granted the bail application in a sum of 100, 000 with two suretees in the like sum and adjourned the case till 14th of November, 2013 for mentioning
