Following industrial action embarked upon by the Academic Stuff Union of University, ASUU, National Association of Nigeria Students, NANS, has dared the union, pointing out that the union is self centred in its demands from Federal Government and unfriendly to Nigeria Students.

His words: "Its high time ASUU and federal government stopped fooling us. Just as ASUU has right to demand its right from FG, we equally have right to hitch free education"

"Before  ASUU strike, there was ASUP strike. ASUP made its grievances known to the FG and they agree to settle the issue amicably without much ado even though FG doesn't meet up with the union's demands as of then yet the union called off its strike"

"ASUU is fighting for its own interest not ours and the union is guilty. Unlike ASUU, ASUP is on a just course, the union resumed strike recently due to failure of FG to honoured its agreement with the union just as the case of ASUU"
