Osun State before now was adjudged to be among the
state with less crime and other criminal activities. This was as a result of
concerted efforts of security agencies in the state in the country.
But now, there may be reasons for parents and guidance and
those at the helm of security affairs to double up their efforts in security
life and property of their wards as well as that of the people of the State respectively
owing to an ugly trend which played itself out in the state.
TheNews Daily authoritatively gathered that police
stations within Osun State are been flooded with rape and kidnap cases. Just as girls within the ages of 12 and 18
were reportedly been raped by unknown rapists, so many have been declared
missing.
Though the state Police Command and other security agencies
it was gathered, are working round the clock to ensure that these evil
perpetrators are being apprehended, an appealed has gone to the parent not to
engage their wards in night errands.
