Prophet Ogedengbe: Police recovers more body part

A new twist has been introduced to the ongoing police investigations to unravel the mystery that surrounds the alleged murder of Prophet Emmanuel Ogedengbe of Cherubim and Saraphim church located within the heart of Agugu area of Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

The Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Adebola Ige had on Tuesday deployed a team of police detectives drawn from the State Criminal Investigations Department, SCID led by DCP Ade bola Hamzat, to ensure appropriate systematic investigations and nib in the bud other suspected members of the gang who are now at large.




But another scenario played out recently when one of the children of the prime suspect, Sina Adeoye, one Sadiq Adeoye came to the police with a big bowl filled with human parts suspected to be some body parts of the deceased.

According to Sadiq, his ex-convict father had penultimate Tuesday asked him to keep the white big bowl with a warning not to open it.

"My father told me to keep this bucket and he asked me not open it and he warned that if I try to open it, I will go blind. But since I heard that he has been arrested, I see the need to bring the bucket to the police so that he can open it", Sadiq said.

Meanwhile, the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Adebola Ige has advised residents of Oba-Ile as well other towns and villages across the state to always be vigilant and avail the police necessary information that could help fight crime.

She said this while paying on the spot visit to the site of the crime.
