9 TIPS EVERY SMART WOMAN SHOULD FOLLOW

BY GREG AFAMAH

Dedicated and smart women, most times, fail to recognise their smartness. They often think to themselves that they're not ready to take on that next bigger task. They focus too much on what they are not qualified for than of what they are, and wait for somebody to discover or even validate them. But now, it’s time to step up and act as the smart woman that you are. These 10 tips for owning your smartness and bringing it to the world will help out:

1 You need to make an agreement: Nobody aside from you is going to shape the life you want for yourself. Nobody will even be able to wholly appreciate the life you want. No doubt, people will come and praise you on along the way, but know that it’s your life. You need to decide to be in it by yourself for the long haul, and be your very own supportive pal at every step of the way.

2 Start envisioning it: Ask yourself, what is the career that appears so unconceivable you think it’s very nearly unlawful to have it? Ask yourself what that dream is that you don’t let yourself even contemplate because it appears too impracticable, frivolous, or crazy? Envisioning it is the beginning of having it.

3 Things that can make you pulsate quickly: To get the adrenalin flowing in you, start doing things that will make you pulsate quickly. Find out what your gasp-level action is. What will chatter in your head are your uncertainties and a harsh innermost faultfinder. That’s fine and okay. When next you hear that monotonous, unfounded, unpleasant innermost faultfinder, think of it as just an awful deceiver, trying to keep you from any real or seeming possibilities. Try things that can make you pulsate quickly and you’ll see how untrue your innermost faultfinder’s story actually is, and how soluble your uncertainties are.

4 Get used to wins and losses: Sometimes you will get thumbs up if you take risks, and sometimes you won’t. There’s no leader or innovator who does not have passionate admirers and harsh criticisers. So get used to wins, losses, praise, pans, and being snubbed. Let go of craving to be liked and wanting to be generally identified as “Ms Nice Girl.”

5 Be a little more arrogant: Just try and be a little more arrogant even if it’s tough for you to do. Be more like those guys in the office who share their thoughts and rally everyone around their big, often unformed ideas without thinking. Move a few steps in that direction and you’ll be better off.

6 Don’t wait for an award: Don’t expect praises, anointments, validations or permission to lead from someone before you make that move. Don’t await invitation from anyone before sharing your voice. No one will discover you like that except after you have started bravely and unswervingly moving towards leadership, sharing your voice, and doing things that ordinarily scare the hell out of you.

7 Sieve the advice you get. Often, smart women are modest and open to advice and like to get opinions. But know that some people cannot comprehend what you are up to mostly because you are saying something new and advance. Some will find you out of their league; others will feel threatened, while the rest people will want to do just what is interesting or beneficial to them from your idea. Consequently, you should read between the lines of people’s opinions. Assess advice and weigh the fallouts, don’t just following it.

8 Stop, recover and restore: If you’ve done the things that make you pulsate quickly, doing what you don’t to a certain extent feel ready to do, and being more arrogant, you would have moved out of your comfort zone a great deal. So now be cautious and check how much risk-taking juice you have left. If it’s running low, you need to stop, recover and then restore.

9 Tell fellow women how smart they are: Mention to other women the kind of Smartness you see in them and why it’s so exceptional. Invite them into grander leadership and exploit. Make them believe that they are all set. Don’t think that because you had to struggle and suffer on your way up the ladder, they should too. Clear a path by being able to walk in it confidently.

FAYEMI A NAME SYNONYMOUS TO BETRAYAL(PART 2)

By ADESOJI GABRIEL, Angelgabby

EKITI STUDENTS
Fayemi betrayed the whole Ekiti students and here are what he did to have betrayed them.
Fayemi divided FESSU by bringing in NAESS to further bring disunity among the union that hitherto harmonized the indigenous students and further make our voice weak. No wonder Ekiti students are yet to receive bursary and no union or body to fight for it on their behalf.
He increased school fees increased in the tertiary institutions against the N50, 000 published in all media.
Fayemi scrapped USTI, TUNEDIK to form EKSU all in the name of state not able to fund these schools but surprisingly, Fayemi went ahead to open a college of Agriculture in his hometown. My question is with whose money will he run the school? Of course from the money he claimed he can’t use to finance UNAD, USTI AND TUNEDIK.

Bursary have not been to any Ekiti students in Nigeria tertiary institution against what we used to have before on a yearly basis, and comically the governors aides have made it gone viral about Fayemi sponsoring seven students to school abroad while his counterpart in Kano state sponsored 300 students with Kano state money. Why is our governor playing to the gallery??

Lastly our unions across the state own tertiary institutions (Students Union) have suffered allot of set back since the commencement of this dispensation.  We have neither been freed to associate under the umbrella of students' union, but surprisingly recently the governor demanded to see the president of the tertiary institutions of the state while we all know Mr. Governor’s plan. Fayemi also asked students to submit three names so that he could pick Special Adviser for Students,.
I laughed when I saw this on Facebook that Mr. Governor wanted to bring the divide and rule tactics. It can’t work because our consciousness has gone far than what we used to have before.
Mr. governor, I on behalf of Ekiti students is telling you to start packing your properties from the state house o. Recently, graduates of EKSU who were supposed to be mobilized for November batch of NYSC couldn’t be mobilized because Mr. Governor has chosen to feed fat on the salary of NASU through tax,.
Hmmm, I can tell you that you have successfully lost student votes if you eventually won the APC ticket to be there flag-bearer in the next election. Despite the fact that students stood by you during your struggling days for your mandate, the aforementioned betrayals are our rewards. Anyway we don wise up sha......Ko si Obo ni idanre mo ooo.

EKITI WORKERS
Ekiti workers, our parents have always suffered the brunt Fayemi’s ruthless government of  General Fayemi. He has always been witch-hunting them, either through unwarranted tests or excess taxing from their little income. It all started with teachers tests (which came in 2 phases), even when teachers trooped out to vote for him massively, hoping to see imole to tan which was his slogan, proclaimed. But disappointedly,  it was Okunkun birimu birimu, total darkness. None of the Union/workers have not received there own part of betrayal. From ASUU to NASU, NULGE to NUT, JUSUN JOHESU and NMA. They either suffer excessive deduction of tax from there monthly token, unwarranted tests, infiltration of government officials to hijack the unions structure, mass sack, suspension and division of there unions and all sorts of anti union activities to destabilize the union body. Thank God for the maturity maintained by the unions.

With all the series of betrayals, are we still going to allow him to continue taking us for a fool? CAPITAL NO. Its high time we stopped hiding behind a finger and we should call a spade a spade, lets show  Mr. Governor what Judas witnessed after betraying Christ with our voice, vote and vivid rejection. We must stop him and his paid agents, we can’t just allow Ekiti resources to be misuse and mismanage at by some few at the expense of the populace.
Ekiti lets Arise, don’t all forget that oun abajo ro kii pe gun and for our future be good and wonderful according to Ekiti anthem, we have to force out every force that is working against the vision of our heroes past.
Our freedom is paramount and Non-negotiable

FAYEMI A NAME SYNONYMOUS TO BETRAYAL(PART 1)

By ADESOJI GABRIEL, Angelgabby

Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, the then acclaimed campaign manager of of United States President Obama, have so many betrayal cases that as a student of history, I have to go into my Archive to get some facts about his series and level of Fayemi’s betrayal and why a man like man cannot be entrusted with Power again after his ongoing tenure which he got through deciets, Lies and Propaganda.

SENATOR BODE OLA
Senator Bode Ola represented Ekiti Central senatorial Constituency in the Nigerian Senate until April 2011. He did attempt to return to senate during the elections of 2011.The Then Action Congress machinery in Ekiti State under the state leader of the party (Fayemi) stole his mandate which led Sen. Bode was in court to fight and reclaim the mandate.
Findings, however shows that he has a strong case against his party. While there are indications that he might win the case, his political opponent within the party got the EFCC on his back. It was based on the usual story of "Someone in Power" giving money to the officials of EFCC to target perceived enemy. Sen. Bode’s business in Ado (Friendlies Hotel and Café) was zeroed. He got arrested and detained; all the computers in the café were carted away to EFCC in Lagos.
After long battle Sen. Bode Ola won the case against EFCC and the total amount of 60 million Naira was said to be paid to him as damages according to the rule the competent court of Law.  The rest is a story till date...

Throughout Sen. Bode Ola’s period in detention and court proceedings, NO ACN or government officials under Fayemi identified with him.
Sen.  Bode Ola has suffered so many set-Up from Fayemi despite the fact that Sen. Bode is the 1st ACN Senator to emerge outside Lagos senators In S/W. Sen. Bode Ola also played a very active role in fighting the battle of returning Fayemi alleged stolen mandate. Should this be what he will be paid back with?
Sen. Bode Ola has been silence for the past 3years during Fayemi’s reign in the state. Though Sen. Bode Ola still has his own Loyalist and I am sure in 2014, it is going to be pay/fight back time and by then the APC and Fayemi will know the gravity of what Judas went through when he realizes he has nothing to gain after betraying Jesus.  Did I hear anybody saying suicide? NO it might not be up to that, anyway but my question is Where is Sen. Bode Ola in Ekiti today?

H.E AYODELE FAYOSE
H.E FAYOSE a former governor of Ekiti State was part of the forces that helped Fayemi won the re-run election that confirmed Fayemi as Ekiti State governor in retaliation of the wickedness (Impeachment) masterminded by Segun Oni godfathers. Be that as it may, Fayose appeared in so many gatherings and declare his support for Fayemi which further empowered Fayemis' campaigns. one of the gathering was lecture of Afenifere Renewal Group (ARG) during the centenary celebration of chief Obafemi Awolowo at Adetiloye Hall, Trade Fair Complex which brought a huge success not just to Fayemi re-election alone but to Ekiti state ACN and the ACN in S/W.
Fayose was there with thousands of his supporters among those who hail Fayose actions (I.e supporting Fayemi re-election) was ACN chieftains of the state led by Jide Awe in SOUTHWEST and neighboring state chieftains of the party. Mrs Funmi Olayinka (Of blessed memory), Fayemi himself and his wife were all praising Oshokomole at the
programme which was chaired by Prof. David Oke, with all these Fayose has done what does Oshokomole got and still getting in return?

Oshokomole, on the other hand, got his own share of Fayemi betrayal when he contested for senatorial seat of Ekiti Central in Labour Party. All within the state machinery power was done to silence him like Sen. Bode Ola but for Fayose doggedness, Ruggedness, Popularity, Maturity, Vibrancy, Articulacy, Acceptability of Fayose by Ekiti people and the love from the people of the state, Fayose couldn’t be silence. Though Fayose lost the election because Tinubu, Fayemi and Ojudu introduce money politics to Ekiti state people (I.e Operation vote ACN and get a sum of #1000) as if this was not enough, so many attacks have been sponsored by Fayemi and his SSA according to Fayose but they are always missing target.
Fayose was monumentally betrayed and that ends the whole saga until Fayose declares his intentions to contest in 2014 guber election. His declaration has caused unrest for within both PDP and APC of the state, Fayose has been facing another form of criticism and all sorts of media campaign to bestrides Fayose's name, but I can tell you that Fayose is a strong man. No amount of betrayal, noisemaking and propaganda will cow or bully fayose's ambition if not for anything but for Fayose love for Ekiti people.
Fayose was betrayed and he has also regained his stability unlike Sen. Bode Ola.

MICHEAL OPEYEMI BAMIDELE
It is no longer news that Fayemi don’t just betray people but also bites the finger that feed him. Though I was not there but findings made it know that Hon. Opeyemi popularly known as M.O.B brought Fayemi not just to limelight of Ekiti politics and to Tinubu but also spend his hard earned money both as a Barrister and allowances as a commissioner. It was when Fayemi betrayed MOB that I remember this saying "Ko si bi ashe ma se ebolo, tikoni run Igbe" No matter how you prepare ebolo leaves, it will always smell excrete (shit). If he has restricted his betrayal to the Senatorial ticket substituted for House of Representatives alone, It would have been better, he further reshuffled his cabinet to drop all M.O.B loyalist and now picked perceived enemies of MOB to replace them. He didn’t stop there, He also set two indigenous brother from same hometown against themselves (Deji A
desokan, SSA on security to Fayem from Iyin Ekiti against Hon.MOB who is also from Iyin Ekiti). This was to the extent that Iyin Ekiti that have been land of praise and peace, where Iyin people will say God love to be praised and He dwell in Iyin town (meaning Praise town).
Fayemi turned Iyin to battle field, that whenever MOB visits his home country his own indigenous brother Deji Adesokan must attack him or cause havoc.
For instance, the fight at Oluyin birthday months ago that led to beating of One Yemmy Obalusi and one Gbenga Ilori both MOB supporters,. What of the beating of landlord of the house that MOB wants to use as his campaign Office and the latest fracas that happened days ago that left nothing less than 12 people injured and sustained degrees of injuries.

MOB is also loved by the entirety of Ekiti people and his passion for his people has also made him sympathize with Ekiti people through his facebook updates for what they are going through under the current dispensation of the state. He has also decided to Liberate his people and he declared his intentions to contest for Ekiti state governor come 2014, since his declarations, APC has been in unrest and remained factional. MOB has been man-hunted, they have promoted all sorts of propaganda to bring his name into disrepute but all MOB will do in response is to call for peace and re-affirm his candidacy in the coming election in the state.

While MOB staunch supporters are fully on ground engaging in intellectual debate Fayemi Blackberry and Halleluyah Boys are busy attacking physically, medially, even spiritually there perceived oppositions. To further convince my readers, see the insults these simple analysis will bore for me. Though I Am not scared of there attack, I am used to it both physical and all other attack am becoming stronger with it all,  am just citing a good examples of what the desperadoes are paid to do (I.e Man-hunting any perceived enemies)
