Wanted Anambra Commissioner resurfaces -Give reasons for evading arrest

Anambra State commissioner for special duties, Vincent Ezenwajiaku, recently declared wanted by the police in Lagos, over a commercial transaction with one Chuks Mgbemena, last weekend in Awka, Anambra State, resurfaced and gave reasons why he was evading the police.

He described the special unit of the Lagos State Police Command that is manhunting him as hell on earth, saying that no human beings in his right senses will ever answer their invitation without due cursion.

“They will torture , harass, intimidate  and detain you without access to your lawyer just to ensure you were humiliated to justify their pay from your opponent. I can’t subject myself to such humiliation at my level.

The commissioner insisted that his deal with the said Mgbemena was a genuine business transaction contrary to claims by the police and Mgbemena, that his company was bubble company.

He said his company, Bioplastic Industry Limited, was incorporated on September 5,1995,at Ajao Estate with incorporation number: RC 278625 and wondered how the said Chuks Mgbemena, with a Masters Degree in Business Administration and staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), then would have claimed that he invested in a non-existing  company, without exercising due diligence expected of a person of his status.

Besides, the commissioner argued that Mgbemena’s elder brother , Dr Mike Mgbemena, was the General Manager of the said company at the time in question.

He said his travail was politically motivated to tarnish his hard-earned reputation.
